I also wanted to let you know that my photo's are not on a disc that was made...so I did take this picture off of Vicki's blog to share...

This picture is so funny....On the way to the restaurant, we were stopped at a red light. Vicki looks over to the car next to us, and it was a small red car with an elderly couple in it. Vicki kept looking at them until finally the man turned and looked at her. Vicki then starts to wave at this guy...like she knew him...the older gent slowly raises his hand to wave, while looking at her as if he thought he might know her, but really didn't. The light turns green and off we go...........I asked Vicki if she knew them, and she said no...BWAAAHAAA so basically she was messing with this couple....:)

So we get to the restaurant and order our food, having a few drinks...ok more than a few...when I catch out the corner of my eye, this elderly couple walking right by us.....I stop them and ask them if they had a red car...the man said " Yes, yes I do". So I then start to tell him that it was Vicki that was waving to him, and then he tells me he has a red PT Cruiser. So I look at him with a sad face and so "oh I'm sorry, I thought you were the man in the red car next to us at the light." He turns to the group and say.."I'll have any kind of car you want me to have..." Well my mouth just about dropped on the table and we all started to laugh. He introduced himself, "Brown, Bob Brown" I thought he was going to tell me his name was Bond...James Bond....but NOPE...Bob Brown. He pulls himself right down next to us, and starts to talk and laugh with us. He said he was made in Canada, but born in PA.....Bwaahaaaa. Then his poor wife is standing there saying..."I have to pee"...he was taking me to pee"...she was a bit under the table, if you know what I mean....OMG we laughed forever one this one, so before they ran off, I got my picture taken with Mr & Mrs. Bob Brown......we never did get the Mrs. name......

HANNA'S GOING TO PUMP YOU UP......

WHAT...????

heeheeee...Our next release is coming up on Monday May 4th....the 1st Monday of the month. You are going to start seeing sneak peeks this Friday for the 1st retro summer release. The sets being released will include the never before released sets, and the "retro" sets.

I had posted about May being the 1st month to kick off our retro summer. You are going to be seeing new ideas and twists to a previously released set. This way, for those of you that have been with us when that set was released, you are going to see a new way to use it. Those that are new to Hanna Stamps, will see the great creations of these sets.

Also a note on Victopia...I went to upload my pictures and found that they were gone..:(  Every year we take everyone's pictures and place them onto a disk. This way everyone can have all of the pictures from the weekend. While doing this, it erased my photo's off my card. I will need to go and pull them off of the disk so I can get them uploaded.

OHHH SO SAD TO LEAVE.......

It is 11am and we are all packing to leave for home...I am sad, as I will miss all of my friends....I wont see Vicki again until her (SHE) and Jonathon come for a visit in summer..... (for all of my fans that want to keep correcting my verbiage..but still give me hits when they read it or even subscribe to it..and the ones that email me to let me know that someone else has stamped something wrong on their card...:).....

OMG we all had a great time....Vicki has some wonderful pictures to share, and I do as well when I get them home and up on my blog.....

VICTOPIA .....I HAVE ARRIVED....

Once a year Vicki Garrett hosts a weekend stamping gig at her house in Kingston, Ontario. This is the weekend of that such event.

I drove to Jacqui's house in Woodstock, and from there Donna, Kim, Tammy, Jacqui, and her sister...Diana Gibbs, Hanna Stamps DT gal, all went up to Vicki's.

We have lots of pictures to share, once I get then from Jacqui's camera, i will post them....

On our way up to Vicki's, we made several stops at various stamping stores. One of these stops were at Stamping Bella's. We shopped and I picked up a few little things, and took some pictures with Emily...:))

We are all stamping and getting ready for our next release on Monday night May 4th.

Oh by the way...I did say Diana Gibbs....Diana lives in AZ, and her and Jacqui played a trick on all of us....no one knew she had flown in to the event...SURPRISE......

CHANGES CONTINUE...

Changes to a company can be bad or can be a wonderful thing. As some do not like change, me being one of those "some". I would still be using my "bag cell phone" and my electric typewriter if it were not for those items breaking and being forced to buy an up grated replacement.

The changes that Hanna Stamps have implemented are changes that I have made...I know go figure..BUT...these changes are needed to grow a successful business. Some are just very simple changes, some are bigger changes.

We have already spoke of some of these changes being retired sets, new and bigger office/warehouse......and changes in our design team is the next change that Hanna Stamps is making.

We get daily emails and requests for us to look at certain blogs or websites, and have allot of interest from you to be on the team. I wish I could have everyone on the team that has the interest, but if we did this then our list would be over whelming......SO......what we have decided to do is have 2 guest designers per month, and reduce our team down to 10 core members. This way it will give more people a chance to be on the team through out the year. PLUS get all of these great talented ladies a chance to showcase their wonderful work.

We are going to be holding a guest designer spots for those that are interested in being a guest designer for the Hanna Stamps team. It will start out with a basic design team call, and from there, we are going to narrow it down...I know that other stamp companies do this as well, but we thought of a bit of a different twist to it. After we have narrowed the search down, you will be getting an unreleased set/stamp to work with. From this new unreleased set/stamp, you will be asked to make items from this set/stamp. The selection will then be narrowed down to final guest spots. We will be picking the remaining year designers. So you will want to keep an eye out for this. We are going to have a ton of press on this, so I do not think you will miss it. Just kind of wanted to give you all a heads up if you are serious about being a guest designer on the team...PLUS you will be the first to get a get a free set that no one will have, not even the design team members. 

With the change of the design team, we have added a new position for FRANCES BYRNE  Challenge Coordinator  www.stampowl.blogspot.com .

She will be taking on the role of Challenge Coordinator. This is the perfect role for her. She has an endless amount of creativity for this role. This is also a great way to get your name on the list, by following our challenges and playing along. As you know we have asked several team members to stay on after their guest spots were done, this could be you......!

ALSO...I KNOW MORE???? YES 1 MORE CHANGE.......

Starting with May, we are having a retro summer. Retro summer will consist of our regular released sets, and bringing back one of our old released sets into the mix. This will give the newer customer's a chance to see the old sets in a new light, and then give the customer's that already bought the sets a new way of using them. We are having a retro Riley and a retro Hanna set each month to go along with the new released ones. We are going to include the retro sets/stamps in with the BUY IT NOW price bundle....another great way to save on those older stamps/sets. What if you already have those retro stamps and do not want to buy the BUY IT NOW bundle, but still want the special price for the new ones, we are going to have 2 BUY IT NOW bundles. 1. A BUY IT NOW bundle, and 2. A BUY IT NOW RETRO bundle. These BUY IT NOW bundles always saves you 15%.

I have been a bit MIA...sorry about that...and no it was not due to Vegas...hehe...

A few months back we were talking about some changes in Hanna Stamps, and told you all that we would let you know as they happen. Well the 1st one we did tell you about was some of the sets being retired. We will only retired a few of them for now, and they are again as follows:

2. Tis The Season---also going fast, great for that tree that you see in a ton of cards. I think that tree alone is worth the 15.50...:)

Ok old news...Now on to the NEW NEWS....

Hanna Stamps has grown by leaps and bounds, thanks to all of you!!!! While growing, we needed to constantly find bigger and bigger space...as we were really out growing our buildings. I wish I had taken a photo of of last building...UP TO THE CEILING with stuff....no lie.

As most might have noticed a different address on the contact page of our website. We here at Hanna Stamps took the plunge and got a really huge building. OK HUGE to us....

We now have our very own Hanna Stamps building/warehouse!!!!

Almost like a mullet....office in front...ware house in the back.....We moved a few months back, and now everything is all done. I am so proud and happy of this!

I want to thank my hubby and my father in-law for all of their hard work, and with putting up with me saying..." a little to the left...ohhh no...maybe back to the right"... I will take a video of our new digs to show you...:)

So, if any of the local people that order want to stop by and pick up their orders, or stop by to say HI and see it yourself, you are more than welcome to.....

Also new will be random Riley releases's....Just like the HOCKEY Riley came out of no where.....the demand for these cute little stamps are through the roof...I don't think we can release them fast enough. SO.... now this is your chance to get them before the design team even will get them....:) Pay close attention to my blog and the website for those furry little guys......
